Houghton on the Hill Community Cinema
The cinema is currently closed. We hope to return in 2023, however we need volunteers to manage the cinema and do tasks such as decide films, book the hall, arrange publicity and volunteers for the showings. We have no shortage of volunteers for the latter, but we need a larger pool of people to help with the management tasks. If you would like to be involved in this – training and support will be given, please get in touch using the contact form.
About the Community Cinema
We are a non-profit, volunteer run, community cinema based in the village of Houghton on the Hill, Leicestershire. We screen films in the Village Hall on a giant screen with high quality projector and surround sound audio equipment.
